Who does all the work?

Hi! Hello! Sawaddee Ka! Thank you so much for checking out my website. My name is Jaa (pronounced like in jaa, not yaa.) I am 27 years old living life to the fullest in the warm crazy city of Bangkok, Thailand. I have been designing websites part-time, both personal and small corporate, since December 2002. Started off with just a very small and simple personal website of myself. Kept designing until it has become something I can make a little extra money of. This helps to pay for my education expense, apartment rent, bills, food and sometimes a few other pretty little things a girl oughtta have. ^_^'

Webdesign has always been my best friend. It helps me vent frustration and stress from hard work at school. I usually feel a lot happier and lighter after I design something in Photoshop (my favorite program!) I love designing stuff for friends and also for my websites. I love colors. I love digital arts. And I love being creative. :-)

Inspiration

I started this website because I just couldn't stand seeing people being ripped off by webdesign companies. Years ago, one of my close friends hired some guy to design her a single-paged website and he charged her an arm and a leg for it (believe me, you would be shocked at how ridiculous the price was for the job he did.) So I turned to her and offered to help, she gladly accepted. I redesigned her website, made it more user-friendly and added much more information about her and her work into it. (I didn't charge her a penny since she was one of my favorite authors.) Since then, her site has become more accessible to her fans, visible to major search engines and many more new visitors visiting her pages each day. Her business has also improved drastically. I am so happy for her and proud of the work I did to help. Upon completion of the job, I then realized, "Hey, why don't I use my skills to help others too! I'm gonna start a webdesign service site where people pay less!".
